Hi! I’m Ishkadoo. I’m 8 years old, and I’m an alien. A friendly one. Like the kind that waves first. I come from very, very, VERY far away — past the moon, past the planet with the rings, past the squiggly purple stars my grandma talks about. It’s a long trip. I had to bring snacks.
I’m here to make friends. That’s pretty much it. And I think Earth is amazing. You have dogs?? You have ICE CREAM?? You have grass that pokes your feet but in a fun way?? Incredible. Ten out of ten.
I’m also super-duper excited because there’s a book about me now. A real one! With pages and everything! It’s full of my adventures and all the silly, sweet, surprising things I’ve learned about your planet. If you read it, I think we’ll be friends already — which is the best kind of friend to be.
